Spectrum Dance Ensemble is a performing group founded to provide dedicated and
talented dance students enhanced training, performance, & competitive
opportunities. Members of Spectrum Dance Ensemble learn a sense of civic duty &
community involvement through performances for local service clubs, fund raisers,
festivals, & convalescent homes.
Members have also performed at such exciting venues as Disneyland, California
Adventure, & The San Diego Wild Animal Park. as well as at multiple dance
competitions winning various awards.
Another goal of Spectrum Dance Ensemble is to promote the arts in the community
through performances and by hosting such events as "Free Dance Day" for area
school children.
The SDE Performing Group performs throughout the year and is required to attend
at least 2 competitive events, one of which also includes a convention at which the
members hone their skills in dance class with teachers direct from the industry. The
performing group is sub-divided into 4 groups: Broadway Bound, Starbound,
Dynamix, & Motion.
Auditions for Spectrum Dance Ensemble's 2012-2013 Season will be held in April or
May of 2012--please call or visit our office for more information in March/April 2012.
Expenses involved with membership in Spectrum Dance Ensemble are defrayed by
the Spectrum Dance Ensemble of Beaumont Booster Club. Fundraisers are optional
and are intended to facilitate the members' ability to afford SDE costumes and
event fees.
